MOVI Presenter Software 2.1

MOVI Presenter Software

Clear Channel Outdoor offers an application called "MOVI Presenter". MOVI allows users to view their own speculative artwork files in a simulated outdoor advertising format at varying distances. It is intended to aid in determining the effectiveness and readability of a design before production. MOVI is extremely useful in testing your design before it actually goes up on the street, allowing you to check the design for contrast, readability and overall impact from normal drive-by viewing distances.

Troubleshooting

Problem Fix
"I Can't Access My Art " FIX 1: Your art has to be a Photoshop file, jpeg, TIFF, GIF, BMP, PICT, or screen shot format. Opening direct from Illustrator, Quark, Freehand, etc will not work. EPS documents will not work either. You can convert any file into eps open them in Photoshop and save them as a format listed above that will work.

FIX 2: Don't go to FILE and then OPEN to get art. That is only to open a saved MOVI presentation. You must choose SELECT DESIGN or click in the little folder in the top right corner to input your art.
Missing Templates in Compose Put the application in the same folder as the template folder and re start. The templates need to be in the same folder as the application. NOTE: Do not rename the template folder or the contents.
Error: "An exception of class OutOfBoundsException was not handled, the application must shut down" The application is out of its folder. It needs to be in the same folder as the "templates" folder so it can access the templates.
Error: "An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled, the application must shut down" The saved MOVI presenter file is missing the art file. Put the art file in the same folder as the saved presentation file.
