DECEMBER 28, 2006 CLEAR CHANNEL OUTDOOR REACHES 2006 GOAL FOR THE DEPLOYMENT OF DIGITAL BILLBOARD NETWORKSTwin Cities Added to the List; Six Digital Billboard Networks Launched in Calendar '06 Phoenix, AZ – December 28, 2006 – Clear Channel Outdoor (NYSE: CCO) announced today that it has reached its goal of launching four to six new digital billboard networks by the end of 2006 with the installation of eight, large format digital displays in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. "We are very pleased to have met the high end of our target for launching digital billboard networks in 2006," said Paul Meyer, global president of Clear Channel Outdoor. "Not only has the advertising community given high marks to the impact and versatility of our digital networks, but the local communities in which they are located are also benefiting from their emergency messaging capability. Given our success with this exciting technology in 2006, we plan to install digital networks in many more markets in 2007." The Twin Cities displays are located on heavily travelled freeways throughout the metropolitan area with an aggregate daily circulation of over 661,000 people. Advertisements will be displayed on each 14' x 48' sign in the network for eight seconds every minute, 24-hours per day. "This digital billboard network will allow our advertisers to display their messages 108,000 times a day in high traffic areas throughout the Twin cities," said Lee Ann Muller, General Manager of Clear Channel Outdoor Minneapolis." In addition to the Twin Cities, Clear Channel Outdoor also has launched digital billboard networks in Cleveland, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Milwaukee, Tampa and London, England.
