As Executive Vice President and Domestic Chief Financial Officer for Clear Channel Outdoor, Kurt's responsibilities include leading and directing the financial affairs, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic development efforts of the company. Prior to joining Clear Channel Outdoor, Kurt worked at Rural/Metro Corporation where he was instrumental in taking the company from a privately held concern to the leading public company of health and safety services with revenues of over $500,000,000. In addition, Kurt led Rural/Metro's expansion effort into its first international venture and eventually into four Latin American countries. Starting as a commercial loan officer, Kurt gained valuable in-sight and knowledge, which he credits with adding scope to his financial leadership.
Kurt received his MBA from Arizona State University and undergraduate in Finance from Brigham Young University. Fluent in Spanish, Kurt has lived and/or worked in various other countries including Mexico, Australia, Taiwan, and Germany.
