Prior to joining Clear Channel, Mr. Cooper worked in the cable and telecommunications industry for over 25 years and most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Adelphia Communications from 2003 to 2006. Prior to Adelphia he served as Chief Operating Officer of AT&T Broadband, then the nation's largest cable company. He also held a series of executive positions at RELERA Data Centers & Solutions, and MediaOne and its predecessor Continental Cablevision, Inc. He has held various board and committee seats with the National Cable Television Association, California Cable & Telecommunications Association, Cable Television Association for Marketing and the New England Cable Television Association. Mr. Cooper was recently elected to the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA). In addition, Mr. Cooper is a trustee at the Denver Art Museum and a director for Colorado Public Radio.
